Today I attended my first @bookriot Read Harder IRL group meet at @roscoe_books. Met some awesome booknerds, got really good book recommendations, and revelled in geeking out on books, bookishness, and Bookriot. Can't wait for next month! Also, picked up 'When Breath Becomes Air' by Paul Kalanithi (that neurosurgeon whose story has been going viral on social media recently). I was warned that it would be a tearjerker-I've been using books as a cathartic, coping mechanism and it's been working for me, so of course I had to buy it.
